funny thing.... I still have my ORIGINAL S1, still works, still not getting much love from anyone except a few hybrids here and there.
I agree with a poster above, RIM really needs to stop kicking out more and more devices without repairing the issues of the previous devices. All this is accomplishing is making people shy away from the BlackBerry and turn to droids and Iphones.
If RIM were smart, they'd realize there is a loyal customer base out here, but turning their backs on us won't help their bottom line.
RIM is banking on the idea that people get bored with a device after a month or so and want something new. This is not always true and I'll tell you how I know this; I work on cars for a living and even though there are new ones coming out all the time, I still work on ones built in the 50's and 60's on a regular basis.
Truth be told, I'd rather spend my money on something that works, lasts and can still be used later if i want it to. I really don't like being forced to "upgrade" just because the manufacturer refuses to support their own product a month later.
