Thread: Ubertwitter vs Twitter For Blackberry

I know this random thing to talk about.

There are two good blackberry apps, Ubertwitter and Twitter For blackberry. I use them both on my blackberry. Even celebritys are using them. What is your opinion about those apps.

I've been using twitter but personally I prefer ubertwitter, for one reason. You can set ubertwitter to check for new tweets at longer intervals than twitter. I don't feel the need to know what's going on there everyhour. But I always miss things if I have to check manually. Lol. I'm not much of a twitter.com user, only use it to fallow companies and such, so I really don't know what major features each has and lacks.

Social Scope FTW!

Absolutely loving Twitter for BlackBerry! UberTwitter is a great App, but I don't use half of the fancy features it has. However, with the complete integration of Twitter for BB with the Messaging App, I am hooked!! I have a lot of friends who are not on Twitter and the ability to pass on Tweets of interest to them via FB, SMS, Email & BBM just frigggin' ROCKS!!
I really think RIM is heading in the right direction here and really seem to be listening to their users and responding with features that folks have requested. Good job RIM!! :hail:

For Twitter For Blackberry, The only thing I want too see is when you refresh the timeline it should stay where it left off then going all way back up to the top. I want to see people tweet from 2 hours ago then scrolling all down to see them!
