    Busted or cracked screen isn't covered by warranty. Mine is covered by insurance.

    It's actually been 17 days and they are giving me a hard time about it. Someone is supposed to contact me within 3 days. I may have to return and re buy the phone in order to get the insurance.
    Keep at them I chose not to have insurance when I bought mine, then had a change of heart after 4 months. What I did was email verizon for the my account page and just told them I was not offered insurance when I bought it. Now I see some of the storms are having problems and I just want to be covered "in case". I recieved a response the next day saying she was looking into it and would let me know. About 4 days later she emailed and called me to say that she was able to add insurance to my account. One the the reasons I have stayed and will never leave Verizon. Outstanding customer service and they have never failed me yet, and I have been a customer since the brick phone days with airtouch.

    I've had a few phones stolen, warranty wont cover that...for the small monthly fee, insurance all the way.

    Yes insurance always for me. Been without and now I know better.
