"Evolution builds upon the successes of the past.
Revolution throws everything out."
Great thought process on that comment. This illustrates why the revolution has not yet begun. Do we really want to throw everything out and start over? Not a chance. What we really need to do is stop adding little things that clutter up the device and try to integrate those ideas into the core of the system. We have BBM and SMS/MMS, why do we need more apps like twitter? Just clutter. We have a browser that needs attention, but more are added to choose from, all with their own issues. Can't RIM just take the hint and decide to actually fix something instead of adding more "stuff"?
I guess what I'm saying is we don't really need that many options, just options that work.
And you are soooo right. RIM needs to step it up, because I am sick of the iphone this and iphone that, come on RIM, you have the #1 selling smart phone on the market (curve), but still need to cover lots of ground between you and the iphone, get with it and fast!!

Seems to me the reasons for going from a texting phone to a smart phone are:
business (email/calendar/biz apps)
BB is lagging behind in two of those! :17:
I want more and better apps for my BB. Especially cool games - where I can have more than one loaded on my phone at a time while having enough app memory left to actually use the device.
