Blackbery OS Leak, not for Blackberry?

Someone over at RIM has recently leaked an exciting WM application. The Blackberry Application Suite which is used to load the Blackberry OS on to WM phones. There have been rumors floating around for a good while that RIM was working on something to take over WM devices. Well finally it's been leaked for you WM users to play with and realize what you're missing.

It has been successfully installed on the TAEL ROM Standard WM 6.5.1 OS. It isn't an OS replacement, just an application suite that will allow you to run the Blackberry OS on top of you're WM device, this way your WM phone can at least have something on it worth value. Word is though you have to be on a BES network to get it to work.

I think it's great to see RIM finally starting to move outward and expand on other devices aside from the ones they produce. Granted this will slow down development for Blackberry addicts devices, hopefully RIM will get enough man power to be able to juggle both seamlessly. Anyhow, here is the download link:

Thats nice an all, but the WinMo platform is still too unstable for me to even come close to buying one again.

    hi

    Hi Natemz

I tried BB app on windows mobile. but screen is locked and it is asking for HRT which is not there. and asking for enterprise activation. In case some one can help. I have a WM- 6.1 and i am just experimenting with the spare instrument.

Without a BES (Enterprise) account, it isn't usable

You're running the right software, it was made for 6.1 its just the BES account holding you back.

Here you go... BB OS on a Nokia...

Techtree.com India > News > Software > BlackBerry OS Found Running on Nokia 5700

This is even worst than yours! Atleast yours was on an HTC smartphone. This Nokia is a regular old bar phone with BB OS installed on it. People are crazy.

People are crazy, but how in the hell do they go about putting the BB OS onto another phone? I would love my phone if it had the BB OS Lol!

Pretty much to say you could do it, I would guess. I would think that the different processors would only allow limited functionality at best.
Have you ever wondered why things intended to make our lives simpler keep getting more complicated to use?

So is it true or is it some fake internet news again? I remember in the past Nokia had some application that allowed blackberry support but never managed to find out more informatin about it.. I think it only had to do with emails sending & receiving...
