Yes, thank you very much! ..It sounds like RIM is finally addressing what I see as the "Big 3" issues that have been its Achilles heel.. Flash, Browser, and Widgets. The camera is a nice bonus.

I was planning on switching to an Android 2+ with HTC Sense UI, but if the S3 is as good as you say I think I may just hold out for the S3!

please RIM come out with someting that has all your great attributes but add all the cool stuff that everyones asking for. flash, widgets, more memory for apps, faster browser w/tabs, and a new UI. and I also would like a touch screen with full portrait qwerty, thank you very much.

I really hope when this storm 3 really released, the other OS is gonna follow it.. 19 second boot time... wow... that's terrific..

Not really sure if having a slide-out keyboard can keep it as thin as an iPhone...

Thanks guys!! Don't know how I missed this thread before- but now I see it and now I will be waiting with bated breath to get another NEW Storm. Thanks again. My husband is gonna flip out. He is so tired of my phone obsession now- but I have only been upgrading once a year. Now if a new one comes out before Oct. that will make my second one. I will never hear the end of it.

I agree. I will be due for an upgrade by then also, so hope it actually is an upgrade.

I don't know about not being able to type in landscape, portrait is too hard because they are so close together and it's suretype...idk, I like the keyboard and needs to be left alone. It's ok if you have actual buttons to push, but not for suretype/press.

Oh, one more thing, I would actually like to see the ability to change the led color light that blinks. If you can use an app to do that, why can't RIM just make it part of the phone's function?

I think I saw someone else post that they think the next BB should be a tour with a touch screen.

I could go for that. I love my screen real estate on my storm, but hubby's curve isn't "too" small. And every time I use it, I find myself using the trackball for some things and reaching for the screen for others. I think that could be cool. Would also lighten the load with a smaller screen... I'm always jealous of how light his phone is.

Hi guys, my contract on o2 uk expires next month, and i was about to upgrade to Bold 9700, but now after i have read a lot more positive reviews about S2, i was swaying towards that, due to screen size. But now im reading that S3 will probably be shown at WES in April, i am getting somewhat confused. The webkit browser looked great and we know that this will hopefully hit this summer on 9700 first then S2.

Now reading your S3 stuff, i have been blown away, and am sure that this configuration is what most BB users have been waiting for to stop us falling behind to Apple and Android.
My question is that, if S3 shows at WES they wont probably release it until October/November, therefore i am thinking of going to S2 then maybe going with the S3 at the end of the year, unless some of you guys know that S3 is hitting earlier which may delay my upgrade,

When the storm 3 will hit is completely unknown. I would say november would be the absolute earliest we would see it but wh knows.
