It would see that it is for the BBM 5.0

You get that message if you choose the wrong option when installing Desktop Manager. You will need to uninstall DM, and reinstall it selecting the BIS/Personal option instead of the Business/Redirector option.

After you do that, on your device, go to: Options > Advanced > Service Book, and delete all service books for [Desktop].

Ok alittle confused. I went to that option and unchecked the option for ser vice books for desktop but do I uncheck the rest? Do I keep it unchecked or do I go back and recheck. It didnt ask me to save anything when I unchecked the desktop option.

How long have you had your storm? Did you buy it used from someone? Looks like the message is referring to attempt enterprise activation/connection to a bes.

I bought it brand new but had to have like 4 swapped out. I think this is a refurbished one and have had it atleast 4 months.

Huh? All the info I have on your issue says that it's from an incorrectly installed DM. Basically you get that message because DM was installed to redirect email messages, but since you don't have redirector configured you get that message.
