Thread: Top 20 applications for the Blackberry by BlackberryOS

After reading PCMags top 20 applications for the Blackberry and not agreeing with any of them; we are going to create a real, user vote top 20 apps for the Blackberry.
We know the basic apps that need to be on the list, but lets hear from you guys, what apps should be on the list to vote for. List all the apps you have on your Blackberry device and will make sure they are listed on the voting page. In a few days we will start the voting and see what really are the top applications for the Blackberry.

For me I would have to say BerryWeather, MeterBerry, Google Maps and Visual Voice Mail

Hey Brett, after reading the PC Magazine writeup I also felt that it did not list any of the handy/useful applications I personally use myself and recommend to every BlackBerry user.

Those applications are:

I even took the liberty of creating a site where these applications can be downloaded over-the-air (OTA).

I am looking forward to discovering/testing new applications from the list/voting response.

Ubertwitter seems to be on the list twice, am I missing something here or is it an oversight?:aargh4:

My apps are listed below. SmartBCalendar is not on the list. This is a nice little calendar app that puts the date on your calendar icon. It actually works, unlike some others that claim to do the same thing. I'm suprised that Google Voice does not have more votes.

The apps that I used on a pretty regular basis are...

Quicklaunch (#1 APP THERE IS)
Slacker
Google Maps
BBM (Yes its a core app, but it is still the best app for BB along with QL)
Opera Mini 5 Beta v2

Just goes to show you that we all have different needs...

Ubertwitter was on there twice. Removed the second Ubertwitter.

I'm actually quite impressed that you consider "Capture It" for the top 20 apps when there are better apps for screen capture.

No Slacker on the list makes me a sad panda!
