Thread: Play audio during call?

So here is something I'm trying to figure out today. I just set up a Google Voice number. I want to set up a custom voicemail greeting using an mp3 I have on my computer.

If I put the mp3 on my phone, is there any way to play it while I am calling Google Voice to record my greeting?

Or, is there a way I can connect my computer to play the mp3 into my phone (without holding it up to the speak)?

I can answer part of that.. there is no way to play it while you are on the phone.. as far as hooking it up to the pc to do I dont think thats possible either because the phone app is the king of your berry so to speak.. it shuts down anything else and runs itself..

Is there anyway to just throw up the audio on Google Voice without using my phone?

have you tried loggin into the website and seeing if there is a way.. i quit using google voice as it was too much for me at the time

Just found a program called Gizmo that does worked. Except now I can't figure out how to change the system default greeting to the new greeting I just made as the default.
