Thread: Please help, connection issue.

While trying to install .230 I prepped as http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/b...tml#post129517 indicated, however I am having some issues. Even after a computer reebot my storm will not connect to the DM. I can not back up my files, which is the first recommended step. BBSAK will not connect to my device. I can not get the Net framework to install.
Any help would be great. As it it pretty late please e-mail me with any available info to e.r.lazcano@vzw.blackberry.net. Thanks in advance.
One more note, the DM stays highlighted but nothing happens regardless of how long I let it try and connect. It's version 5.0. I'm still running on O.S. 4.7.0.148 and craving 5.0.0.230. I am using vista home premium, this is the first time I experience no connection between my strom 9530 and my DM. Again, thanks.

So let's tackle the net framework first. Did you try to download from windows update site or did you try to download from the separate link?

Try running windows update when the screen comes up that lets you select custom install. Choose that and scroll down to netframeowork and check mark it and let it install.

I'm not exactly sure on how to do this..Sorry i'm a lesser tech, or bad, I should say..

Sorry open up IE click the safety tab in to right corner and choose windows update. On the screen that pop ups click view available updates (might vary as I don't have any updates needed to walk on my pc), this should bring you to a screen where you can manually select updates to install.

Does your computer see any other usb device?

Whats IE? And yes it does see other usb devises, Antonio. I think i'm gonna give up and wait a till October for the storm 2. I'm a bad blackberry owner.
