    Unread Email Icons 5 OS

I decided to put 5 .190 back onto my 8900 after playing around with some excellent hybrids.I got to thinking I really like this why did I take it off...then they appeared and I remembered....I get the unread Email sign on my home page last time it went up to 18 and already I got 5 this time.Ive looked in all the obvious places to clear it can anybody think where I might have unread messages...I really dont wanna take this 5 off....

    Peace....Newy

I would open up view folder>click on the blue box and see if you have any unread messages that could be hidden in that folder.

Besides Seanren's suggestions try this as well

If you have all your emails going into your messages folder scroll all the way to the top of that folder. Highlight the banner and click the track ball. Select the option that says mark prior opened. That should make all the notifications go away. If you don't have all your emails going into the message folder, then follow the same steps in each separate email account.

If you want you can take the call logging out of the message folder.
    phone> options> Call Logging> Select None

This is how I have my Storm set. I don't need to have my missed calls in my messages folder. I don't know about you...
