I used my headset on a call last night now it shows that its still in....can someone tell me how to fix this plz its pissing me off thanx

shows that its still in a call or still plugged in?

Have you tried to make another call without the handset plugged in, if this doesnt resolve the issue, i would try a good old battery pull.

I've done a pull n it always active in call or music I have to manually activate the handset

Since you can manually reset, it seems to rule out a hardware issue like a defective or shorted jack on your device. But to be sure, try a different headset and see if it changes...but it generally sounds like a software problem.

I was just thinking the same, like when old flip phones used to get stuck in that car mode and they had to be exchanged/

So now what go exchange this one for my 4th one in 7 months?

depending on your comfort, you can back up the device, wipe it and reload the OS, but that can get risky with information loss and such.

or you could have it exchanged.
