Thread: BBtran language help

I tried to send my wife an sms in arabic, it looked like "????? ???"

Is it that you can use any language that has characters in the alphabet or 123? Is that why the arabic wouldn't go through?

Not sure. Does she also have the language pack installed?

What you need to do depends on which os you and your wife are running. The easiest way to correct this is download and install lyricidal's shrink-a-os and add the read only files for arabic.

Sorry guys i didn't check on responses. ok more than likely it will keep happening until BOTH of us have bb's. she has an instinct now. getting two tours for us, but dont have them yet.

And oh hell yeah, i didn't think of using shrink os to use the "read only" files. cool.

So, I already have .163 from lyricidical for my 8330m, if i wanna make adjustments in the shrink os; will i have to do the process all over again?

Which process? You should be able to use shrink without a problem.

I am asking would i have to reload the whole os? Or do i just goto shrink os and it goes from there?
