Thread: Media Card Error

A Media Card has been inserted that encrypted content which will be unaccessible by this device.

I did a NUMBER of things to the handheld yesterday (Sprint/8330). Tried to get hybrid on it. But the whole 6-8hrs i had the media card REMOVED.
Can anyone help me with this error msg. I had some pics that it wouldn't read. Just some old cars i took pics of at a car show. But I dont like the error msg.

Have you tried formating the media card with the device?

If you don't care about saving your images you have on there you can just reformat the media card by going into options, memory, BB button, then format. This will wipe your media card clean and should get rid of the problem.

NOTE: Before trying this. Pull your battery. Insert the memory card and reinsert battery. If you get the same message your best bet will be to reformat the card.

I'll do it, but the pics are of High importance to me
So i'll take both of ur advice, but i'll move the contents to my pc then format then move back to my card.

Props to both of you. I moved all my goodies to my notebook. Batt pull. Put them back on media card. Batt pull. No more error!!!
