Thread: HELP Please Stuck in app 200 error

I updated my Sensobi this morning on the way to a meeting and now the phone is stuck with the app 200 error message right after bootup and I can't do anything. I forgot my data cable at home but am in meetings thoughout the day any way.

What are my options....I need my phone...so please help.....Damnit I can't even check this to see what sort of answers I get...guess I will have to make quite a few bathroom trips.

200 Application manager threw an uncaught exception The application manager event thread threw an uncaught exception and so cannot continue execution.

Bad 3rd part app my friend. I would Boot device in safe mode. Pull battery, when red LED begins, hold down the back button until safe mode appears. See if you can delete the app this way.

It is typically caused by one of your 3rd party apps, if you have them backed up some where you could just delete them, but if you have no data cable, just keep trying batt pulls, or try booting in safe mode,

Remove and re-insert the BlackBerry smartphone battery.
When the red light-emitting diode (LED) light goes out, press and hold the Escape key as the BlackBerry smartphone is loading. See KB05470 for the location of the Escape key.
When the dialog box appears, click OK.

Thanks guys for the quick answers, This stinks, I can get into to safe mode and deleted sensobi but now I am stuck in a reboot cycle where it flashes app 200 error and then resets itself. I can get it to work in safe mode though.

Until I get home to wipe this clean and do a reinstall, is there any think I should be concerned about running it in safe mode for the next 4-6 hours?

I ran my storm in safe mode once for 1-2 hours (can't remember the exact time) but I had no issues. It just keeps your 3rd party apps from functioning but your default system should still be good to go

This has been a hard day..I forgot how hard it is to get by without my blackberry...and no blackberryos....this has been terrible. :aargh4:
