No need to sideload the bar, there's an apk to install now to make it easier.

You can get the apk if you just go to here on your phone.

I have been using that and I find it crashes almost constantly when trying to install apps. Is this common or am I doing something wrong?

Are you running the latest os? Make sure too that everything is installed per the instructions.

If the install itself is crashing, then that is an issue with the OS/Android Emulator - Upgrade your OS would be my suggestion.

If it's the app that's crashing, please screenshot the message and post it up here and I'll take a look at fixing it.

    Thanks!

the message I get is "unfortunately google plays store has stopped" with an ok button under it. Sometimes its google framework has stopped but usually the playstore message. Is there a specific order of installation I am missing I thought I installed it in the order it said in the instructions. I am running 10.3.1.1784 on a Z30 on the Rogers network.

I did a factory reset to make sure everything was fresh after I started seeing these messages and that hasn't helped with the problem. I have manged to actually install a couple of apps but it seems more like random success rather me doing anything correct.

This message shows up after i restart the phone and then go to the playstore.

As much as I'd like to help in this situation, I merely provide the app that connects Cobalt's work/APKs to the user with ease. I don't support whether Play run's or not unless of course it's my fault for distributing a faulty APK, however each APK is used directly from Cobalt's download links. I would say this issue is because you are missing a component, though, after reading through Cobalt's posts on CB.
