Thread: battery won't charge, is it bad???

hello everyone, im having problems, i wiped my phone and now the batt wont charge, i charged it overnight and i lost over 60% in less than an hour and a half span, ant inputs?

Hmmm what it do when you plug the phone in ? and you tried connecting it to the computer as well ?

First things first a couple of questions. How are you charging your phone, AC charger or USB cable? Second, does your phone show that it is charging when you plug it in?

Just another quick question are you running 151 and did you do three bb pulls after install. Just trying to see had others and myself have this problem. I just pulled bayterry and it started charging. Also do you have another charger. Just try and are if it takes a charge with it.

i tried both ways, pc and ac, and it does show as charging, kriskoooo!! how you been man, i swear i keep running into this weird phone malfunctions, maybe i should get a motorola star tac hahahaha

That's odd. Have you tried leaving it charging for an hour since you tried charging it over night? I'm wondering if maybe it was just a fluke at first or if something else is happening.

its is also entirely possible the battery is bad. I friends phone would not charge, she called for a replacement it was send and received. When the new batt was put in it worked fine.

That's odd sounds like the port might have gone out, i would make a call to Verizon. OH add me back on BBM it's in my profile :-)

will do krisko!, thanx guys, the phone was fine all up to the damn wipe hahaha, ill keep charging it abit longer and see what happens

another 2 things quick, you dont have any news or weather apps that need to have their update times changed from 30-60min do you? and the second thing that has been known to right this is to let your phone die completely and then charge it fully
