I was using my phone one night and out of nowhere my phone screen when white. I tried removing the battery and placing it back into my phone but that did not work, it still has a blank white screen. I also saw information online stating I should use my App loader but that also did not work out for me. Is this a screen problem or is my motherboard(mainboard) not working...Please help me
Hello Ace242! Sorry to hear about your troubles. Was there an error code on the white screen? Have you tried seeing if the Desktop Manager will prompt you to reload your software? Please post back and let's see if we can bring that BB back to life!
there was nothing on the screen at all, just a white screen no logo or anything else. Whe I opened Desktop Manager it told me that it could not connect to my device and it told me to update so I tried and it stated that there was no update available. Also I was trying to restore it from Desktop Manager and it would not allow me to.
You might try rebooting the device while connected to the desk top. This should prompt a repair or update message . When it asks you to update under update it should say see available versions and select . Then select the current version even though it says it is installed and reload it.
Thanks Walter! Try this Ace242: Open your Desktop Manager. Then while your phone is connected with your usb cable, do a battery pull. When your device boots back up, see if you arent prompted to update your software. Important: Wait until the phone boots completely up to update. Please post back!

If you'll notice, it has an "update" option. Click on that and it should prompt you to reload the software.Quote:

According to my understanding, I had this issue once,
1) The screen's strip might be loose, you would have to give that for repair and that is not very costly,
2) You can try reflashing your phone. Connect it to the computer, Launch AppLoader, and start the flash. Do note that all content would be deleted.
