Thread: can't find app world on bold 9780

i cant find app world in my bb bold 9780 i once install app world OTA but when i upgrade it again lost i need a proper way to fix ds problem nd i want to have latest app world for my bb i cant find it on bb home screen but its in application management

Did you reboot your device after install.

Seems to be common issue with some. Find it in your Application Management and delete it. Reboot your phone and then reinstall it here: BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More.

So. Have you gotten it figured out? The suspense is killin' me!!!

this does not work for me . i use a torch 9800. did everything yet ,nothing changed,i will be very glad if someone can help me out here

You can try two things if you're running OS 6 and your device software version is prior to 6.0.0.706 then you have to update your device OS , OR you can try App World version 4.0.0.55 until a newer version cames with all fixes .To install ver.4.0.0.55 from your BlackBerry Browser browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/dev...code=appworld3 and download it.

Error 507 means there is no Operating System on your device, it happen while updating or when your device OS became corrupt.To recover your device from this error 507 you can reload your device software using BlackBerry Desktop Software or simply download the OS pack from your Carrier site and use loader.exe to load the OS back on your device.You can download the OS pack from here BlackBerry - Desktop & Device Software Download Sites for BlackBerry users - US after downloading install it on your PC . Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe

But remember in this process you will loss all data within your device ,I hope you have your device previous backup which you can restore later on.
