How to update Blackberry Bold 9930 (7.1 Bundle 921 to 7.1.0 1149)

Hi, i have a Sprint version of Blackberry Bold 9930. Now the device is successfully UNLOCKED and it can be used by any carriers. I just have one concern, if i send SMS (Text Message) from this device with more than 160 characters, the recipient of the message will receive a batch message. Example:

*Send sent a message containing 200 characters
*The receiver will receive it like this:
(1/2).................
(2/2)................

-This is very annoying for the recipient, so im just wondering if maybe we can update the version of SPRINT Blackberry Bold 9930 (7.1 Bundle 921) to Blackberry Bold 9900 (International Version - Asia Version) of 7.1.0 Bundle 1149?

There is a universal limit on the number of characters using sms and it has nothing to do with the os. As far as I know, it will always show up like that unless you both use a texting app like Crunch SMS that gives the ability to send and show longer messages.

I apologize! I forgot to answer your last question: You cannot put a 9900 os on a 9930. You can only use os's that are designed for your particular model. :)

Thanks for the reply, but on the other hand do you have any idea on how to fix the SMS Messaging? I mean if i send more than 160 characters and the recipient won't receive the message as (1/2....) and (2/2....)....? Or is there any app for it? Thank you very much?

Thanks. But the runch SMS won't work also, it will also appear as by batch like (1/2 and 2/2...)... Do you know any other SMS Apps? Thanks

As far as I know, there isn't an sms app like that unless it's a standalone app like BBM. Sorry!
