Thread: NO 3g network...

Just reinstalled the vodafone OS for my 9700 which is up to date as well but i dont seem to be able to connect to the 3g network at all..all i get is th 2g Edge..pls how do i have this sorted out...

From what I just read on the net, there are a few factors to consider.

Some mobile carriers run on certain 2G and 3G wireless network frequencies, which brings up my question, where did you buy your BlackBerry Bold 9700 device?

Did you purchase it from Vodafone? online via eBay? private seller?

I got em from a private seller,even with the 3g&2g ntwrk it doesnt bring up 3g ntwork or blackberyy connect logo...

Now, we need a little more information. What carrier is your 9700 branded to? What is your current OS version? And, what OS version were you using previously?
