    nope someone told me to upgrade the os n it would fixed but i did all of that n still nothing

    yes there is a service book but i c no sms in it . should there be one

    As long as there is one for MMS you should be able to text. So if you see one like MMS Transport or MMS Client that should be all you need. Are you on a pay as you go plan or monthly? Please read below for info from Vodafone. Since everything else works on device it should be something on their end. Also,did you try to send a text to yourself?

    The Vodafone message centre number may not be correct on your phone.

    It is normally stored under message settings on your phone.
    The quickstarts in Phone help will show you how to do this.
    The message centre number should read +447785016005.
    If this is not shown you will need to delete the current entry and enter this number.
