    Blackberry.net and Outlook

Well I am hoping someone can offer me some information on a question that I have been trying to get a answer to on a few other forums but to date its still un-answered.
Maybe I am asking for something that is not available yet, or ever will be.

Ok I used to use Outlook to sync my iPhone daily and and for a year or 2 became VERY dependant on the freedom to not be concerned that I could loose my calender, Contact information.

When I switched over to the Verizon Storm I synced over (Outlook to BB) all my Contact, Calender information and since this was a trial did not want to sync back and forth because I am still on T-Mo for a few more months and did not want to mess up my iPhone/Outlook relationship.
That said I generated a @vzw.blackberry.net account, which NOW seems to have all my past 3 months appointments as well @vzw.BB.net emails.

Can I or how do I create a profile in Outlook for this @vzw.BB.net account???
I would be willing to loose the emails but need the Calender information.

I should also say that another reason for not syncing with my personal Outlook app is because at work I have to be on a BES server and I do not want to post my personal Calender, Contact, to the work population.
When I carried a BB and a iPhone the separation wasn't an issue but since I have grown fond of the Storm I am hoping to use i device to satisfy all my communication needs.
Now for about 2 months I have not been at work because of a medical leave situation.

I since have purchased BESMailBox which I believe will keep my personal ISP email, Calender, Contact info separate from the BES account.
    This is correct yes?

Anyway before my return to work I need to get my calender info from @vzw.bb.net into my Outlook at home.

    Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    Thanks

    JW

    Hello n0m0n..
I'll tell you where I'm at with this. The short end of things is that at this time user@vzw.blackberry.net accounts cannot be set up in outlook as a pop3 account. It is however able to configure to an SMTP outgoing mail handler. So I'm trying to come up with a workaround for you.
What I think you may have to try is to get your user@vzw.blackberry.net account to forward to a gmail/hotmail (or whichever account handling service you like excluding Yahoo mail.) Then from here set you pop3 to mail.user@gmail.com and the smtp to mail.user@vzw.blackberry.net.
So before we go forward, let me verify this with some consultants I work with and I'll get back with you. Please be patient with me today for I have some other issues that I'm currently working on however I do realize that issue is of importance.

    Thanks...

have you looked into google sync. It plays very well with the iphone and ical. No to date BB/outlook do not have mutiple calendars like palm or google does.

one thing you could try is setting your device default settings.

options > advance > default settings

    it might help.

How would that get my calender appointments for the past 3 months and those made for future dates?
It appears that they are on the @vzw.blackberry.net.

    Thanks

re configure your settings either with DM sync or start using google sync. I've used both but much prefer google.

I'm kind of anal when it comes to organizing my calendars and google does everything I need.

I dont understand or know how.
I want to get either a second profile in Outlook or combine the Calender into the profile within Outlook.
    Thanks

So should I take it that I cant migrate over or create a way for my @vzw.blackberry.net calender over to Outlook?

The emails I can forward but first and for most I need to get my 3 months of appointments over, second he contact list would also be nice.

    Thanks

Sync your appointments with Outlook first. Then go to options > advanced > service books and delete the CICAL entry for the bb.net email account. Then go to options > advanced > default services and verify that the proper account is set to default. Then resync with Outlook and your appointments will be moved into your new default calendar account. Hope I understood your question and that this answer helps you with your problem.

Hmmmm not sure that will work or not.
Ok I have in Outlook n0m0n profile, which has been used for years. (years worth of appointment info)
When I got my Storm and setup n0m0nn for the @vzw.blackberry.net in early march all my appointments going forward are in the n0m0nn calender.
I need to take the n0m0nn appointments and migrate them into n0m0n or create a n0m0nn profile in Outlook so that I dont loose my last 3-4 months appointments.

    I hope thats clearer.

I can afford loose to loose the emails and contacts for n0m0nn (would like the contacts to combine as well but secondary wish)

    Thanks

If your DM is configured to sync with Outlook it should sync all your appointments from your BB to Outlook regardless which CICAL they are saved on. Have you tried this? The idea being that once they are in Outlook, you can 'force' them into whichever default calendar you wish. Let me know if you've set up DM to sync with Outlook and attempted to perform the sync.
