One more question:
When I first installed the hidden theme (which is GREAT) I noticed that I had 37.7 meg (which is the highest I have seen in months)
After rearranging the icons as I like them I still had 37.7meg.
I know that you must quickpull once or twice after choosing a theme so I did and when everything came back I only had 31.4meg which is where its at for he last few quickpulls and about 20 minutes.

Should I have lost memory after the quickpulls???
Isn't that backwards?

Not sure why it would have dropped like that. I don't pay much attention to app memory so it will be hard for me to determine why it happened. My advice would be to not worry too much about it. That's not a huge drop and 31mb is more than enough app memory anyway.

Yeah but now its down to 26.6meg in 30 minutes.
Thats a 11.1meg drop, and the phone is just sitting on my desk idle.

Its not at a dangerously low level but who really wants to loose large chunks of memory within 30 minutes?

No and because Im running 151 b5v7 there aren't many themes to put on a storm.

AS for 3rd party apps Switch Applications says WB, SMRTGuard, MSDict, are running int he background.
But they ave been running in the background for months.

MSDict is just there and doing nothing until I call on the dictionary.
SMRTGuard isn't set to follow at this time, and WB its WeatherBug and it is set for 30 minute updates.
The memory has gradually dropped over 30 minutes but not at 30 minutes.

Any ideas as to how to find out why I'm am now hovering around 15meg from 31meg when I quickpull?

It really depends on how many apps and what apps you have. There are several that can cause a memory drain. How long have you had your Storm?

Apps that are running via Switch Applications:
MSDict = Dictionary which is just in a waiting status for me to call up a dictionary
SMRTGuard = I dont have it following so it to is just waiting
WeatherBug
Meterberry = which doesn't showup in the group.

As for how old the Storm is I have had it since 3/3/09.
OS 151 B5v7.
I must say that my memory is much more stable with this Os Hybrid then EVER before.

I have BBAMP (blue hidden WB) and the default, no others installed.

Let me know what else you need.

Is there a way for me to get a list of whatever that could be running or hogging resources besides Switch App?

I also found that I loose the most memory when the phone is in a standby state, meaning that when I use the media player for a bit the memory is at around 32meg when I check.
I also noticed that I started to play a word game and I had 24meg after about 10 minutes of playing the game I checked and I had 29meg...

So if I have my phone on the desk (doing nothing) or in the holster the memory drops big time...

Wow, yeah it doesn't surprise me that you get that low. You have quite a few apps. Did you just recently start noticing the memory dropping? After this theme installation?

Well as I shared earlier today I was sitting steady at 37.7meg right after I installed this theme.
I executed quickpull as everyone advised to do and after 2 quickpulls I never got about 31meg.

As for the apps most aren't being used and are closed.
Even not when I quickpull I start at 31meg and within a few hours of not using the phone its goes to the mid-teens.
Right now I'm at 16.0...

I'm gonna let someone else take a stab at this. i'm serious when I say I don't pay attention to memory. There has to be something in that list that is draining it. Eveyone else has reported little to no memory leak with this theme. Anyone see any leakers in his list?

In addition to Bryan highlighting the apps that are known to cause memory leaks, I can also suggest deleting OEM wallpapers/ringtones, sample videos and the song to free up another ~5mb. Other than that, the more apps you have, the more memory you will lose. Also, I noticed that some themes leak more than others, and the only one that is known to leak the least is the default zen. I would suggest that you either perform a daily battery pull and may be see if you can eliminate some of the apps. Good luck.

Yes you can...Download BBFile Scout (OTA: BBFileScout Download [File Manager for BlackBerry Devices]), and then just do it right from your phone without DM/PC or app loader.
