    Lightbulb bold 9930 blinking red light n wouldnt power up

    hello everyone, pls would b glad if i can get a solution to my fone, the service light keeps blinking each time i insert the battery into it and it wouldnt power up. i tried reloading it through a computer but to no avail. can someone pls come to my aid?

    hello, thanks so much for response. i tried it just the way u told me to but still no still didnt come up. been getting same complain from some of my friends too, about 5 of them havung same problem with their bb 9900. how i wish i could get a lasting solution tovthis.

    Try to plug the device into your USB on your computer without the battery in and see what happens.

    I noticed it in the morning after charging it, didn't update the os.

    Finally I got a solution but just for mine, still trying to do the same for my friends but hasn't work.

    There's the solution
    Connect ur bb to usb cable then connect the usb cable to ur system. At this point make sure ur battery is not inserted into the fone. Open ur blackberry desktop manager then click on update, once the update gets to the jvm quickly insert the battery n leave it to install. U might need to keep clicking on retry severally incase it doesn't start loading automatically

    Yes, after insering the battery, I left it install then it boots the normal way it should. But this worked for just mine. I want to try this while process on another lappy n see how it goes.
