Thread: Loader.Exe Issues

Hi,

I work with BB's daily and last week after downloading OS software for the Bold 9900 and Torch 9810, the Loader application stopped working. (We don't use BB Desktop Software - long and complicated story - we just run Loader to update the OS'.) So I deleted every previous OS software that had been downloaded and any other BB file I could find including vender.xml and then downloaded one of the older device's software and it still wouldn't work.

I understand that RIM updated the Loader software (from v4 to v6) and am assuming they did that for all devices but does it only work on more current PC OS's or is it a bug in the software? Or is it something else entirely??

Any help would be appreciated at this point because I"m seriously screwed if I can't get this working!

I have similar issue too

Do you have any antivirus software? If you do make sure its not blocking it.

i have the same issue as well. i have tried multiple computer systems. vista, xp, 7 still the same issue. i have tried loader.exe, blackberry desktop software. I'm about to try java loader to get it loaded
