Thread: 9700 downloading problem(browser)

Evertym I try downloadin files from the browser I get this problem can some one please help with a solution http Error 413:request Entity Too large The page you requested couldnot be loaded. Please try loading to a different page.

Welcome to BBOS. If your profile is correct it looks like your using OS 5 on your 9700. OS 5 I believe has a download limitation of 2.9 mb. There are a couple things you may try.

1. Upgrade your device to OS 6

You can download the lates OS for the 9700 here:

2. You can download a third party browser that does not have restrictions

Opera Mini - Opera Mini & Opera Mobile browsers

Try setting your default browser to Internet Browser and not Blackberry Browser. I think that RIM has a file size limit and using the Blackberry Browser limits your download file size.

Hopefully, another of our moderators and/or members has additional information for you.
