    Default BBSAK's new version BBSUKs

    Hey guys,

I've had a previous version of BBSAK which worked perfectly but I lost the flash drive that it was on. So I now downloaded the new version and my device is not connecting. I ran it as administrator and still nothing . I've used the older version about a year ago on Windows7 Ultimate 32bit, so it can't be a compatibility issue.

Is there a fix for this? Or even better, can you guys please hook me up with a site where previous versions of BBSAK is available for download?

    Thanks in advance...

Plug in your BlackBerry , then end the process which is called " BBDevMgr.exe " then run BBSAK.
If it didn't work,End any process related to Blackberry after plugging in your BlackBerry then run BBSAK.

So I've found the v1.5 which worked for me perfectly before... Still my phone is not connecting.
Or is there a way to do a complete (like BBSAK) with BlackBerry Desktop Software.
I really want to use BBSAK again though.

    Help?

These steps should remedy your problem, try fiddling around with this process to see if you can get it to work. I know that you have to end the process for Desktop Manager for it to work.

I'm still not getting it to work, even tried it using our old laptop which runs Windows XP SP2...

Besides BBSAK, is there any other way to do a complete wipe?

    Thanks...

Not really. You can do a security wipe of your device which you can choose from a list of what you want to wipe. However, this won't wipe your OS, just the information on your device. It may be worth a try and then restore from a backup. Maybe you have some junk code lingering on your device.

To get to security wipe, go to... Options... Security... Security Wipe.

Thanks, but I would have liked the "white-screen" wipe...

Lol... I wish one could just connect the phone to the computer and Format it like a 'drive'...

I had the same issue you were having. I just messed around with different ways of opening and it finally worked. You may want to try the right click, run as administrator.
