    Mystry IT Policy

    Hi

I just installed a Hybrid OS on my Torch. Now I have a IT Policy on my device. I never had any policy as I was using only BIS service on my personal BB.

I tried a util to remove IT policy but when I restore my address book etc, the policy reappears.

ANy clues/suggestions to get rid of it ?
Note : I am not restoring Policy & Firewall from my backup

Try to backup your files using a separate method. What I use is an app by S4BBataBackup. You can choose what to backup, and it will run on your device, but save the backup in the SD card, so you can restore it from DataBackup once you re install the OS.

The only way you can remove an IT policy is by a complete wipe. Since its a hybrid build theres no telling whats in else is in there. My suggestion would to try another build.

That's great, now we know where to go to when we have these issues.
