I want to update my phone and im new ive got a bold 9700 how do i update it to the one like 9780????

If u think you can upgrade from 9700 to 9780 then thats to far fetched. May be you can use the Market section to swap ur 9700 with 9780 :)

What he means is that he wants his software to be like the 9780, which is OS6. Joe already explained how to do that.
