I just tried a bunch of different variations with my friends unlocked tour. Compared his to mine and the settings. The only things that I can see different or this. If you go to options > advanced options > Sim card and you type in the phrase mep2 the code activation screen does not pop up on his tour so i am assuming that is the only way of knowing. If the activation screen doesn't pop up then it must be unlocked already? Also on this screen it shows his phone number where it does not on mine.

If you go to Options > Advanced > SIM card. Then type mepd (it wont show up on the screen), a new screen with more info should appear. If it is unlocked, Network should say it's disabled to not active or something to that effect. If it is locked, it will say the network is active or enabled.
U sure that :haha: will work on a storm ,i'm trying and nothing happens, no new screen appearing.:confused: and i'm sure my S1 is unlocked.
The key combo might be different on a touch screen device, but once you get to that screen, you can see for yourself.Quote:

Another question, if my stuffs are disabled under sim card, what am i supposed to do to enable them??
When it shows Disabled and Inactive, it means that the phone is unlocked and that you should be able to use another carriers sim card to use on their network.
