In maps application under settings, what is address recognition exactly for?

There is ON and OFF option.

Can you be more specific? Are you using BB maps or google maps?

Yes i can. I am using BB maps, when i open MAPS application and click menu, there are options and you can choose address recognition ON or OFF...

Thanks! I thought that's what u were talking about I just wanted to be sure. From what I can gather I believe that when it is turned on then the maps application will be able to recognize the specific address of where you are. I am trying to get more info for you. If u could possible try doing that and let me know the rest that would be much appreciated. I don't use BB maps, google maps works better for me.
