    Protected Media

Not sure if this has been brought up before and if so, I apologize for doing so again.

When I plug into the usb port to desktop, I get and error message on the bb..."Unable to open protected media session. Exit the media player and try again" Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

I'm not in media, have no media files open or anything that would involve the media.

    joshjamie,

When you select you options listing on your device, navigate to the memory listing.
You will notice several settings in this listing.

Tell me what your setting is for "Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)" is.

But then I lose the ability to see the bb on the desktop when I plug it in. Everything was fine till about a week ago. I wasn't changing os's or adding apps when it started happening.
