I have the 9550. My wife has the 9530. I have 9550 os software installed atm on the pc. I want to shrink her os and tidy the phone up a bit. Do I have to un-install the 9550 software from the pc before I install the 9530?
I am guessing yes but wanted to know if I could work with both of them installed on the pc. Will it confuse the desktop manager?

Hey there empty_skull, I changed your title to make it a bit easier to understand.
And I've installed numerous os' on different devices while not removing other devices, but sometimes I had to do it 3 or 4 times because they did get confused a bit with each other.. So to be safe I would :)

The only soft I know of that can handle multiple OS installs is BlackBerry Master Control Program BB MCP
So if you are not familiar with it, it is better to uninstall first as you've already suggested :D
