Thread: Need help desperately...SMS alert

I have a SMS alert saying I have 1 text. I have searched everywhere for anything unopened. I went into my message folder and searched there. Checked all apps like weather-facebook-bbm and every other app just in case and can't find anything. I cleared my cache deleted call logs- did everything including 4 or 5 battery pulls.
If anyone knows how I can get rid of it-- PLEASE help me!!! I really am going crazy trying to find out what is wrong.

You have said that you checked all your folders, are you sure that you do not have any hidden folders? If not then go into your main message folder and make sure the top date is highlighted and hit the menu button and select "mark prior opened". This will mark every message you have as open and hopefully remove your icon alert.

Did that ........it's still there.

Did you by any chance upgrade and use an alternate SMS app, etc.? I've have this issue before where I had an unread message, upgraded the software, and then had an unread notification stuck.

Realized that it seemed like this showed up after installing an ungrade to berryweather today- so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and that did the trick!
