Application Memory

When I perform a battery pull every morning i seem to lose a megbit of memory on my Storm 2 (Verizon is my service). This just started happening. I also noticed that when I connect my storm to desktop manager it shows a theme a deleted a long time ago. But it doesn't show up on my phone. Should I just go to Verizon and tell them my issues and get a new phone if they can't fix it? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.:)

The theme will show up on your dm if you removed from your storm using the dm or ever did an os change with the dm or.... Its stored on your computer not your device. You have to locate the alx file on your computer in order to remove from your computer. As for your memory issue... Can you give me a better description of the situation? And tell me what os your currently running?

Meterberry will actually eat memory... Are you losing the mb of memory over the whole day... Or right after it reboots? We need more info...

Try check with ie filescout on your BlackBerry for data 'fragments' of your deleted theme?!

I have noticed a decrease over time as well. No new apps installed since I did a refresh a few weeks back either. Leaving the device alone, I'll have memory taken away. I/E: last week after a reboot I had 120 MB. A reboot over the weekend and I was down to 116. The only thing I can think of is my emails are taking up more and more space and not clearing out.
If I wipe and reload, I'll be up around 140 before I Enterprise Activate. Then down to 137 afterward. Then over time, it just slowly creeps away. FWIW, I am running OOAK 464 hybrid.

Over how much time, do you lose that memory??? The second: Apps and Themes have memory leaks in them. Over time it will drop memory. There is nothing wrong with your device!

For example: With, like, 30 or so apps, I reboot at 102mbs. After very heavy use and leaving apps running, I am down to about 99.8mbs by the end of the day.

You could have the S1 and be losing about 20mbs like I used to.

Side note: Meterberry has an option for you to reboot your device automatically each day for this reason. It's to recover the leaked memory.

Again... There is nothing wrong with your device!

I understand that part. But when I reboot I'm not regaining my memory back. It's gone.

OK... Try this... Open your browser and click the blackberry button (the one with the little dots) Hit options> Hit Cache Operations! Clear everything! Then go through and clear all messages not of value to you, and then reset your device.
Let me know what you have for memory then.
