When you want to wipe your blackberry before selling it- can't you just use the Security Wipe under options?? What is the difference and what do you all recommend?

A security wipe just wipes out the IT policy, leaving all the OS files alone, where in BBSAK or JL_Cmdr you have the option to do a full wipe, essentially the same as formatting a harddrive.

Pretty sure a security wipe does not wipe out the IT policy.

Well pretty much you want to wipe out all your personal data, which is done with the security wipe done by the option u used, you also want to wipe the applications if they are premium apps otherwise you can just re download them and swap pins at the store u purchased them all.

So to give you a short answer yesy you did it right
