Thread: blackberry restarts everytime i try and open video

just started happening tonight, i tried to send a video and it restarted. its done it 5 times now, tried opening different videos but it keeps restarting. i did not install anything recently..........very annoying :aargh4: thanx in advance

have you changed your OS to a new hybrid? and were the vids on your phone or memory card?

no hybrid, just the new 5.0.0.438.........and the vids are on my memory card.........also its 2 or 3 videos........glad my upgrades in about 2 or 3 weeks siiggghhhhhhhhhhhh

When did you upgrade the os? Recently? Might b corrupt bids if its only a couple causing it.

thats what im starting to think too......cuz they worked before.........havin other issues too, screen goes all white or all black when i try and "wake it up" or unplugging from charger.....lol i really need my upgrade

I've noticed that sometimes after upgrading the OS, the vids that were working previously on my phone (taken by the phone) don't work anymore.
I attributed it to differing codecs in the video processing software. Maybe there's more to it?
