Thread: Unable to delete forwarded contact

Somebody forwarded me a contact through BBM and after I saved it into my phonebook, I couldn't edit nor could I delete the contact....

When I tried to edit the contact and save it... it says "Contact updated externally. Changes will be lost and viewer closed"

Anybody know how to fix this problem? I tried two battery pulls and the problem still persists..... the same guy who forwarded me that contact has forwarded me other contacts before and I didn't have this problem.... I have no clue as to why it happened for this specific contact.... :irked:

Are you using BIS or BES?

I'm on BIS...

Is this contact is ur bbm contacts as well? Probably u need to delete from there first.

No the contact is not on my BBM contacts... somehow it disappeared after I reinstalled the OS...
