Installing back up data
I'm sure this has been answered before, but I've searched and can't find info on this.
I upgraded to 126.96.36.1991 on my Bold 9000 yesterday, and after several failed attempts, achieved success. Before I attempted the upgrade, I backed up my data through DM and also saved my 3rd party apps through BBSAK.
First, if I restore my backup data to my phone with DM, will this restore the original OS (188.8.131.527) or just the data such as my contacts and calendar? All I want to do is restore my phone contacts and all the appointments I have for the calendar.
Second, after restoring 3rd party apps, I found a file in the apps icon that has a ton of files in it, including music, tones, as well as movies. Can I move some of these files such as quickpull and captureit to my homescreen or apps page, and if so, how do I proceed?
If someone's already written a tutorial for this, please link me to it.
