App World Connection Problem
I keep getting the same message every time I open up App World:
"BlackBerry App World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again."
I have VZW 8330 curve and im running a OS 5.0 hybrid. Now before anyone says its the OS, I had a normal OS 5.0 on it before that and had the same problems.
Im not even a huge fan of app world but i want something on my phone to work like it should...whatever that means. please someone explain to me why app world is laughing at me.
My wife gas not been able to get apoworld to work since updating her 8330 to 5.0 I think it is the 5.0 os. What version of appworld are you using?

I have the exact same problem too. When I bought my phone at OS.5, I could use it perfectly well. Then, there was a time, when I upgrade my phone to OS.6. I didn't like, so I downgrade it. After that, my app world could be use anymore. That time, the message was, " app could not be downloaded", and I thought after upgrading now, my app world is able to use, but now, i received message " BlackBerry App World is having trouble connecting to the BlackBerry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again."

Where are you located in the world? Did you move recently? Depending on what part of the world you are living in, sometimes you will not be able to connect to BB App World.
