Changing icons
So just last night, I jumped into the wonderful world of themes by trying appleberry. I liked the whole stack idea. So far, everything is appropriately purty, but there's one problem.
I have many different personal and private e-mail addresses, and I like keeping the icons for separate addresses right up front so I can easily differentiate whether I just got a business or personal message based on which account it came in on. The problem I have is that both e-mail links have the exacy same icons, and Appleberry has a lag before it puts the name on screen. I noticed that my Yahoo e-mail account had a dedicated icon, so...
Is there any way to swap out the icon for just one of the accounts to something that looks different? Eventually I'm sure I'll memorize which is which, but in the mean time... Thanks!

Laney is correct unless the theme builders skins the email account icons differently for you, then you will be stuck with whatever they choose.

Its not even possible to skin email accounts differently. Not even by the theme builder.

Hmm maybe I am not understanding then. I would think a theme builder could use a different icon set like below

those are 2 different themes though, right?
i think what nate is trying to say is that there isnt an option to skin the icon depending on the email provider... so we are stuck with the one. (unless you have one of the email providers that has the dedicated icon)

Correct. I want to differentiate between two similar e-mail addresses within the same theme. What really stinks is that one of them is my @vzw.blackberry.net account. You'd think that they'd program that one differently before they did Yahoo... Come to think of it, the other one is a gmail account, which *also* has a special entry in the e-mail setup program. Oh well. I was sort of hoping there was some way to trick the OS into thinking that one of them was an aol account or somesuch. Thanks for the help!

It is not possible in Plazmic, you have only two options, Messages which is all of the email together and default which is the icon that all email accounts are given. So at best you can get one icon for the messages and one icon for all email accounts. The reason those icons are different is they are installed by the program with their own icon.
