Man I was disappointed to see no messages in this forum. I was hoping to get some information on how to develop a new Address Book for the Storm.

I am not a java programmer. But I see Rim has a plugin for VS2005. Can you use VB and the plugin to create an app worthy of the storm?

If someone could give me some direction I would appreciate it.

I may be weird but I find the native address book to be quite sufficient. What type of features/functions would you hope to include that do not come on the device? I'm interested in any new ideas.

its boring... You have awesome themes, cool apps, and the most dull and boring address book imaginable.

Im not trying to re-invent the wheel... just trick it out a bit. =)

I'm with ya, I'm all about customization. This is definitely an area where the old work-horse BB is lacking a bit. Good luck finding a way, make sure to share if you figure it out!

Accelodex is pretty cool, but I don't really like the scrolling, and that is the point of the app. So, its not for me.
