I just went to do the subscription for a lifetime, but it appears that lifetime is defined as 5years within the system. Is lifetime automatically renewed at 5 years, or is that just the information I am seeing on my screen?

Also, according to BlackberryOS' post, memberships are non-reoccuring, but when I go to subscribe via paypal, it states that it auto-renewing.

Please advise.

Status - You are seeing correct, for lifetime there was no option for me to click "lifetime" when setting it up for the duration. The lifetime membership will autorenew at 5 years for free. I may actually just up that to 50 years. and if BlackberryOS is still around after 50 years..Good god. haha

well based on your avatar, you'll be about 53 yrs old. That's still young enough. LOL

Ok, I paid for a VIP membership. What do I do now? Where do I click, or how does the system know that I am a VIP?

I was wondering if there would be any type of discount on the lifetime membership if for example, I pay the $20 for a 3 month membership and then decide I want to go lifetime. I just want to see how much I'll benefit from the VIP status before I commit to the $75. Let me know. Thanks.

Actually. To be honest I never thought of that. I'll talk it over with the Officials. By all means sign up for 3 months or even a month to try it out. We're still getting ALL the benefits finalized such as discounts from 3rd party accessory sites out there. You will def. benefit from it and paying the 75.00 for a lifetime, I honestly think you will make up the 75.00 with in the year once we get everything finalized.

If you are talking about signing up for 3 months then with in that 3 month period you want to go to lifetime then yes, there will be a discount.

BBOS, thanks for the reply. Sounds fair. I'm signing up for 3 months now. Who knows, in a month or so, maybe I'll be ready for the lifetime commitment..

IMO , what might be cool is a give away for a lifetime membership , maybe a who has the coolest avatar , maybe well i dont know but have some contests goijng i think that might help more people come and check out the site . Just a suggestion , i do like this site so thank you for having me .....
