Default Office 2007 doc attachments

I have the most recent version of docs to go. The program will open Office 2007 docs (.docx, .xlsx) files saved to my device. I can open .doc and .xls e-mail attachments fine. It will not open .docx and .xlsx e-mail attachments though. Is there a solution?

Try this Ryano- on your phone

options>advanced options>applications> highlight blackberry attachment service>click bb key>edit default permissions and change everything to allow

And let us know how that works

I set the default permissions to allow and did a battery pull.

Using BB File Scout or browsing from DocsToGo directly, the icon to the left of the doc shows up as a recognized file type.

When I go through the attache file process and browse to the same file, the icon to the left of the same doc shows an unrecognized file type.

If I e-mail it to myself, it shows as an unrecognized file type and cannot open the file.

When I e-mail the earlier Office docs (.doc and .xls) they open fine.

I have a Storm 9530 that came w/Docs-to-Go v1.006.052. Since I did not purchase it as a stand-alone product am I entitled to an upgrade and if so, where do I get it?

if you click on one of the icons (wordtogo or sheettogo, etc) and agree to the terms and conditions then hit bb button there is "check for upgrades" option. it will then ask you to register, you just have to put in your name, address and all that good stuff and then you upgrade

I deleted and reinstalled DocsToGo. Now it is even worse! It still won't open 2007 attachments. But now when I open any of the 3 DocsToGo programs, the screen will not change to landscape and the keyboard will not disappear. Even when I open a doc the screen is stuck in portrait and the keyboard stays on.

Go to options>advanced>applications>highlight docs to go>hit bb key and enable or disable compatibility mode

See if that works

Maybe this is part of my problem. After loading a hybrid, can I still connect to Desktop Manager? If so, can I use the application service in Desktop Manager?

Quick question...where can I download docs to go? I loaded the .151 leak and forgot to install docs to go and right now I'm away from my computer. Is there an OTA? Thanks.
