locked out of password keeper on a curve
This is actually for my husband. He has a Curve and he would like to use PW Keeper. When he tries to open it, it asks for a password. He says he has never set one up. Any ideas?

Is that device on a BES plan such as a company's business policy?

Somewhere in the history of this device it has inadvertantly had a password associated with that application.
Just my thoughts.
You could try to do a security wipe on the device but you will need to have a backup of everything that is on the device before you wipe it.

It's strange as I seem to remember having the same problem with my Storm when I got it, but can't, for the life of me, remember what I was told to do to solve it. I don't think I wiped it (didn't learn how to do that for quite some time).
I have been telling him to back it up on his computer, but he always has some excuse why he hasn't. Can I back it up on my DM even though my Storm is on there?

Yes you can make the backup. just create a separate folder and name it xxxxxx Blackberry Backup.
Then when you select to backup that Blackberry device, navigate back to that folder you created when DM asks you where to save the backup.

In fact what is telling you is to create a password, that will be the password you'll have to use after u set it....
