Default Address Book Transfers

Hi guys. I just got a Pioneer in dash navigator and blue tooth installed in my car. I have the bluetooth set up and working correctly, but I have been unable to transfer my contacts to the nav unit. Any ideas how I do this? On the head unit there is a button I push to transfer my contacts, but when I push it nothing happens. What is it I need to do on the phone for this to happen??

Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Dont know specifically for your head unit, but on your phone, make sure under bt options it says to always share phonebook and always allow connection with the hu.
