Sprint releases 4.7.1.57 for the Tour!
If you've been waiting to make the 5.0 plunge, today brings you a different toy to play with. Sprint has officially released OS 4.7.1.57 for the BlackBerry Tour. There are reports that this is only available through DM, however we have included a download link from the official site as well. It should only be a matter of time before it is available through both sources.

It is only through Desktop manager at the moment. It has not gone live on the Blackberry download site yet.

Thank you but as Sunkast stated only .40 is listed on this site. As I stated this is only being pushed through Desktop Manager as of now. When it does become available on the Blackberry download page, your link will come in handy.

Wirelessly posted
Has anyone successfully upgraded to this? Last night I used my BBDM to install this upgrade and it totally wiped my OS clean. Ultimately I was able to use an old restore point, but I lost all of my downloaded apps and even the BB Instant Messenging.
I'm all for upgrades but I want to know that this will work before I try it again.

Welcome to ! That is typical of any new OS install. Be sure you make a back up of your settings and also your applications (with BBSAK).

Mine gets stuck on phase 2 or 3 of 11. It says "downloaded modules 270 of 319". How do you get around that or figure out what it's stuck on??

This version is believed to fix:
Display: - If the customer received a new email or SMS text message, the Home screen might not have displayed an indication of a new message received.
Wireless Network: - In some cases, the signal strength indicator (RSSI) might have fluctuated randomly and the customer’s device might have appeared to have a strong connection to the wireless network, followed by a weaker connection.
Messaging: - Previously, if the customer’s SMS delivery option was set to immediate, their device might not have sent the SMS message immediately as expected
- If the customer’s were sent multiple MMS messages, they might not have received all of the MMS messages.
Phone and Voice Dialing: - If the customer received a phone call there might have been a delay in audio routing between the time they answered the call to when the recipient heard their voice.

Fails to download
Has anyone tried to download the OS today? I am having problems downloading one file. It is the same file everytime:
http://bfs.websl.blackberry.com/bfs/bfs/uam/9c03ee2b45dade099437813eb62d697fb4011f04/Java/net_rim_bb_medialoader_ringtones_9630.cod
I see this is in the Apploader logs as the problem file and putting this file into internet explorer also causes the file to fail to download. Not sure how to fix it, but I am currently sitting with a wiped BB unable to download or install the OS because this file will not download correctly. It always goes to 1188KB and fails at that point.
