My bad... lol. With the sensitivity set to 70 both ways, I am getting 3-5's. Where on my old Tour it was only 1-2 a 3 if I just kept at it. Very odd indeed. Overall though, this new device is amazingly easy to navigate. I didn't really have a hard time with the last one but this one is heaven. The girlfriend is also happy with her replacement.

So did you get one of those "green sticker" tours?

Wirelessly posted (9630)

Thanks freebird for posting. I can say with some certainty that I do have a trackball issue. Makes sense though I've had this one since release date.

I had trackball issues with my tour since it was new. I Finally got feed up and took it to a sprint repair center. They acknowledged that there was a hardware problem, but insisted that there was software fix coming. I insisted that something be done and subsequently the tech ordered a replacement tour. I picked it up today. And the new trackball is heavenly and scrolls flawlessly . Looked like a refurb pack, but the status indicates that it is not refurbished and it definitely looks new.

LMAO! A hardware issue can't be corrected by a software fix...

I had one tell me the Otterbox was the reason my Curve couldn't receive phone calls one time.... Turns out with that particular OS, every time you received a mms it just did that for some reason. I took it back to the store and showed the rep the article I had found and still he blamed it on the otterbox.

Some CSR's choose to be dumb. I've had plenty of good ones before though.
