yea that's kind of wat I was thinking too. It seems like VZW is trying to attract non storm users to get into the storm and just forgetting about those that already have it.

the question is, what is the promo going to change to ?

with the Tour, the price dropped $50 within 2 weeks of launch....maybe the new promo after the 8th will be better ?

If you enlarge it and read it, it says this form must be signed and stamped for delivery by 12/12/09

LOL it will be extended beyond 11/7....simmer down!

Current pads go until 11/7 and they do not include the S2 so they had to make a special one from launch day to the 7th. Then on the ones that begin 11/8, it will be on there with the other BB's

No one is getting screwed

this is great news. Jnespa do you think they will give me the voucher and my 2 year discount of $100? This would make the phone very inexpensive.

verizon gives you an "early" ne2 upgrade option...usually 2 months from your current end date, they just set you back those 2 months, so your next upgrade would be 9/21/09 for example.

You can do this on line (I just did-see below)
Thanks for registering your rebate online!

You can track the status of your rebate any time at www.verizonwireless.com/rebates. Just select "Manage Your Rebate Submission" then "Track Your Rebate" and use your tracking number or your first name, last name and zip code. It's that easy!
Please remember to mail the required information to complete the rebate process.

Go to www.verizonwireless.com/rebates then select manager your rebate and follow the on screen instructions. It is good for purchases of the Storm 2 between 10/4 - 11/7 and must be submitted by 12/12/09. I purchased mine today for $179.00 plus tax and with the rebate it will be $79.00 can't beat that. I upgraded from the Storm and it was worth it.
